I cannot say enough good things about Amanda and Amanda Moreno Consulting! I was looking for someone to help me refine my speaking and presentation skills before NAM Nationals. However, I ended up with so much more than that. I found my own personal cheerleader that was fully committed to helping me achieve my goals. Amanda helped me with every little detail from figuring out my different wardrobe pieces (and lending me the perfect pair of earrings to complete my National Casual Wear winning look!) to helping me perfect every single inflection, hand movement, and expression in my personal introduction. She went through my modeling routines and ensured that I was ready for the stage. She even gave me the tools to nail my onstage question. Amanda answered all of my questions and made sure that I was completely ready for my very first experience with National American Miss. In addition to winning the National American Miss title, Amanda helped me secure the National Casual Wear Modeling title and top five placements in various other optional competitions. More importantly, Amanda reminded me that my worth was not determined by a title. I was the absolute best version of myself going into competition and I was unapologetically authentic – something I strongly attribute to her encouragement.
Amanda’s goal wasn’t just to make me a better competitor - she challenged me to be a better individual. She pushed me to delve deeper into my goals and passions and encouraged me to be open when sharing them. Amanda helped me design my plan as the next National American Miss – a plan that I have now been enacting throughout my entire year of service. Once I won National American Miss, I jumped into an incredible and exciting year. Amanda has stayed by my side serving as a mentor and constantly encouraging me. Her presentation and communications training helped me market myself and the title and I am forever grateful for her knowledge, patience, and skills.
